As the SWISS centre is taking shape and the Sports Centre opens, the changes we have anticipated are becoming a reality. It is without question the most exciting time to be part of Chantry High School in recent times. The next phase is the planning and development of our new school. Many pupils, staff and parents have already been involved in shaping the ideas which will be turned into the new school. I hope many more of you will become involved. We need to listen to all our community to ensure we build a new school which delivers the highest quality learning environment.
It is clear to us that learning in the 21st Century will be focused around technology. I am delighted to be able to announce major developments in this area. We have been lucky enough to have been selected to pilot a national project involving redesigning space for learning. This will enable us to transform an area of the school into a space fit for 21st Century learning. As you may know already, we have launched Chantry TV (http://tv.chantryhigh.co.uk) as part of our upgraded website and we are seeking to further enhance our provision by opening the facilities up to a wider community.
