The English department regularly organises Theatre Visits; recent productions seen by students include The Lord of the Rings, Horrible Histories, Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat, Northanger Abbey and The Woman in Black. We invite writers to come in to talk about their work and inspire students, including John Townsend, Malcolm Rose and Chris De Lacey. We organise Creative writing workshops with the help of Writing 4 Kicks and the Arvon Foundation. We aim to provide students with the best possible models for all aspects of their own development .
