Chantry High Schools Art department teaches an array of artistic disciplines, is drenched in vibrant colours and accommodates traditional and contemporary styles of working. We encourage all of our pupils to learn various techniques such as screen printing, painting, mono printing, lino cutting, various drawing styles and textile design. The department also introduces pupils to famous artists such as Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Gustav Klimt, Wassily Kandinsky and Patrick Heron. We also encourage the promotion of contemporary artist such as Angie Lewin, Jonathan Clarke, Francesco Ruspoli, Jenny Saville and Elaine Pamphilon. The areas that we have been studying recently are based on natural forms and projects that have a multi cultural base. This area has produced some amazing work that we hope you will enjoy.
