Hold On By Alan Gibbons

Based on a true story and written in diary form, this is a really emotional read. Ann’s friend John is dead and she is trying to find out why he killed himself and to get justice for him. The book has extracts from Ann and John’s diaries, and slowly you find out the truth. It’s really gripping – I hadn’t read anything like it.
