The Library holds approx. 13,000 books, two daily newspapers with backfiles, First News, ten general interest magazines, a collection of audio CDs, four Kindles with a selection of ebooks and access to 14 internet-linked PCs to support learners.
Library stock is catalogued on the Autolib admin. system, and this catalogue is available within school via the school website. Go to Student Links to search the catalogue by author, title, classification or keyword.
The Library is OPEN for class use and individual learning (with an OWL slip) throughout lesson times, and for recreational use after school until 4.30 most days.
The library also runs book fairs and a wide range of competitions involving the local primary schools and frequently hosts visiting authors. Our friendly library staff are always on hand to offer help and advice.
Students can access the School Library catalogue by going to the Student Links page - please note, this can only be accessed whilst in school. Alternatively you can look at the British Library resources on www.bl.ukor of course visit your local library, or look at Suffolk Public Libraries at http://www.suffolk.gov.uk/LeisureAndCulture/Libraries/SuffolkLibrariesDirect/
