Timings of the School Day

With effect from  5 January 2011

Breakfast Club - 8.00 - 8.25am

8.25am                  All students arrive in school

8.30am                  All students in Learning Family /Tutor group

9.00am                  Period 1

10.35am                Break

10.55am                Period 2

12.30pm               Lunch

1.10pm                  Period 3

2.40pm                  End of school for all students

At the beginning of each year a letter is sent home asking you to state clearly what you wish your child to do at lunchtimes. There are three options:

• To go home at 12.30 and return t 1.05pm
• To eat a school dinner and stay on school premises
• To bring a packed lunch and remain on school premises

We will not authorise the practice of pupils buying food at local shops and consuming it either on school premises or in the community.

All food must be eaten in an ‘Eating Zone’.
